Bonus Listening Lesson: An Apartment Listing
Ready to test your skills by choosing an apartment? In this bonus listening lesson, you’ll work with real-style apartment listings and practice just as if you were listening to a real estate agent. The class includes several short audios and engaging listening exercises to help you catch important details about rooms and items in a home. While the main focus is listening, we’ll also work on pronunciation—especially intonation—so your speech sounds more natural. Together, we’ll combine listening and speaking practice to master the rhythm of everyday English, with special attention on how to use “there’s a” and “there are” when listing nouns. By the end, you’ll not only understand apartment descriptions more easily but also speak with clearer, more confident intonation.
In this lessons, you can improve:
- your listening comprehension
- your use of "there's a / there are" and "and" in lists of items
- your pronunciation and intonation
Other information:
- This is an A1 or Beginner level course.
- This is an optional lesson in a series.
- Completing A1 Unit 3 Lesson Set 2 is highly recommended for this course (having a good knowledge of rooms and furniture vocabulary is important).
