The schools have got subsidy by local govenment and Japanese gavernment, it wil cost you the minimum, if you are registared as resident there.
I can tell you about the Japanese education. What I know is the recent education in Tokyo. If you live in rural area or you have specific school in your mind, please let me know in advance. I'll reserch it first and let you know how it's like.
