English Consultation

Not sure which lesson is right for you or your child?

This 30-minute consultation is for new students who would like to discuss their goals, level, schedule, and lesson options before trial lessons or beginning regular lessons.
Consultation in Japanese is possible!

What We Can Discuss

  • Your current English level and previous learning experience
  • Your goals and what you would like to improve
  • Which of my courses may be most suitable for you
  • Your preferred lesson days and times
  • How often you would like to study
  • Whether you would like homework between lessons
  • Any questions or concerns you have before starting

For Children

Parents are welcome to discuss their child's current English ability, previous learning experience, strengths, difficulties, interests, and goals.

We can also talk about the type of lesson structure, homework, and level of support that may be most appropriate for your child.

For Adults

We can discuss your current ability, reasons for studying English, work or personal goals, previous learning experience, and the areas you would most like to improve.

I can then recommend the course or lesson style that may be most suitable for you.

This is a consultation, not a trial lesson. We will mainly use the time to discuss your needs and determine whether my lessons are a good fit for you.

If you already know which course you would like to take, you can request a trial lesson directly from that course page instead.

This tutor's cancellation policy

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 24hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 24-48hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
