Getting to Know Guam
Objective: Students will be able to discuss their background knowledge about Guam, ask questions about Guam, get to know Guam better by talking to someone from Guam.
1. Getting to Know You Exercise whereby teacher and student will introduce themselves to each other and student give background information about himself or herself and why he/she wants to learn about Guam. (5-10 minutes
2. Student will watch the Youtube Video: Spent a Month Living on Guam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMTLM55P6Vo (15 minutes)
3. Students will do a Q&A exercise called "3-2-1." In this exercise, the student will list three things they learned, two things they have questions about from the video, and then state/write one summary statement of what they watched.
4. Teacher and student will close the lesson with anticipated lessons for the future and any other questions they may have of each other.
