Let’s Talk About My Day! | Ages 7–12
Description
Let’s talk about your day! 🌟
This 25-minute speaking lesson is designed for children aged 7–12 who want to become more confident speaking English in complete sentences.
We will focus on familiar topics such as morning routines, school, favourite subjects, after-school activities and hobbies.
Your child will practise questions and answers such as:
“What time do you wake up?”
“I wake up at 7 o’clock.”
“What is your favourite subject?”
“My favourite subject is Science.”
“What do you do after school?”
“I do my homework and then I play.”
Using pictures, guided questions and short speaking activities, your child will practise useful vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and sentence building.
I will model new words and sentence patterns, practise them together with your child and then encourage them to answer more independently. I will also gently correct pronunciation and grammar when needed.
We will finish with a fun “Tell Me About Your Day!” challenge where your child will use the language they have learned to describe their own day.
By the end of the lesson, your child will be more confident talking about their daily routine, school life and favourite activities using complete English sentences.
