This is a JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) preparation lesson for students who want to improve their Japanese and prepare for the exam.
Lessons are available for JLPT N5 to N1, and the content will be adjusted according to your target level, current Japanese ability, and areas you find difficult.
In this lesson, we will not simply solve questions and check the correct answers. We will work through JLPT-style questions together and carefully examine why an answer is correct and why the other choices are incorrect.
What We Can Study
Depending on your needs, we can focus on:
- Vocabulary
- Kanji and kanji readings
- Grammar
- Sentence structure
- Reading comprehension
- Differences between similar words and expressions
- Meaning and nuance of vocabulary
- JLPT-style practice questions
For vocabulary and grammar questions in particular, I will explain not only the correct answer, but also the meaning and nuance of each choice and when each expression is actually used.
For example, when several words have similar meanings, we can compare them using example sentences and learn which expression sounds most natural in a particular context.
Focus on Your Weak Points
As we work through the lessons, I will pay attention to the types of questions you often get wrong and identify areas that need more practice.
For example, you may have difficulty with:
- Reading kanji correctly
- Understanding the differences between similar grammar patterns
- Choosing between similar vocabulary options
- Reading and understanding longer texts
- Keigo (honorific language)
- Transitive and intransitive verbs
We can focus more closely on the areas that are difficult for you.
When necessary, we can also review points that you previously found difficult or answered incorrectly so that you can gradually strengthen your understanding.
Japanese Beyond the JLPT
Of course, the main goal of this lesson is to help you prepare for the JLPT. However, I also believe it is important to learn Japanese that you can actually use even after the exam is over.
When appropriate, I will explain how vocabulary and grammar from JLPT questions are used in real Japanese, whether an expression sounds natural in everyday conversation, and whether it is formal, casual, or appropriate only in certain situations.
This Lesson Is Recommended for Learners Who:
- Are preparing for JLPT N5–N1
- Want to focus on their weak areas
- Want to understand why an answer is correct, not just memorize it
- Want to understand subtle differences and nuances in grammar and vocabulary
- Have questions they cannot understand through self-study
- Want to develop practical Japanese skills while preparing for the JLPT

I will adjust the lessons according to your target level, goals, strengths, and weaknesses. Let’s work through the questions together, understand each difficult point step by step, and prepare for the JLPT!
