COURSE LEVEL:  Beginner/Intermediate – Age 11 and Up

Course content will be tailored to Age group
(High School Students and Adult Learners welcome)

OVERVIEW:

  • For this lesson, we will learn about circles and ellipses in perspective
  • You will have fun doing perspective drawing exercises using circles and curves.
  • Learn ways to combine regular polygons with ellipses to create other forms and shapes.
Drawing is a learned skill, if you are willing, you can do it! Grab your pencil and paper and let’s have some fun.

COURSE DURATION: 60 Minutes

COURSE OBJECTIVE:  

  1. Understand how to determine the Circular tangent points in perspective.
  2. Apply knowledge of Perspective Ellipses to create curve volumes and surfaces.
  3. Be able to extrude Circles and Curves to form Cylindrical Objects.
ART MATERIALS:
  • Pencil (preferably HB)
  • Pencil Eraser
  • Sketchpad or a few pieces of Plain White Paper
  • Ruler (optional)
  • Pencil sharpener
