Hello! My name is Irma from Singapore! I was born and raised in Indonesia, and in 1999 when I was 18 years old I came to Singapore to study. I have lived and worked here in Singapore ever since.
 
I am bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia and I use both languages on a daily basis. 

In terms of other languages, I have been learning Japanese for more than 6 years and an owner of JLPT N2 level certificate. I have also learned French (4 years, but a long time ago unfortunately), Mandarin (ongoing) and even Singapore Sign Language (2 years).

＊ What I can help you with ＊ 

As a bilingual tutor, I would like to help you to increase your English proficiency or I can also teach you Bahasa Indonesia from basic.
I will make sure that you will be able to hold conversations confidently and able to communicate using words and phrases that natives would use. 

I also studied Computer Engineering and worked in the IT field for more than 10 years, so for those who would like to hone their communication skill in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia in the IT context, I'm here to help!

I have a HUGE passion for languages, cultures, and traveling to immerse myself in other countries' daily lives. I also love reading books and watching movies from many different countries. If you love listening to music and watching movies, we can incorporate them in the lessons and make the lessons more fun!
