"It’s not my cup of tea."

（「これは私の紅茶ではない」）

これは役に立つフレーズです。

「好きじゃない」という意味です。

日本語でも英語でも「好きじゃない」と言えば、少し失礼可能性がありますね。

"It’s not my cup of tea" はもっと柔らかい感じがあります。

とてもネイティブらしい丁寧なフレーズです。

例：

A: "Do you like natto?" （「納豆が好きですか？」）

B: "It’s not my cup of tea..."

イギリス人は紅茶にとてもこだわりがあります。ミルクを入れる人がいます。ミルクも砂糖も入れる人がいます。ストレートの紅茶が好きな人もいます。

私はストレートの方が好きなのでミルクが入った紅茶は飲みたくありません。It’s not my cup of tea!
