In the kitchen and at work, let's look at key words:
- Make a cup of tea, make a cup of coffee
- I making dinner for my friends tonight
- I made tea for my sick grandmother yesterday because she couldn't do it herself 
- I am busy right now. Please call my secretary and make an appointment 

Do:Obligations, actions, tasks.
- I am doing a report right now, so I won't make it out for drinks 
- She did a great job at the cooking competition 
- Lucy did all the ironing, washed the dishes and made dinner
- Give me a second, I am doing up my hair 

Skills covered: Speaking and listening 

Warm up: Let's play the game 'Show and tell'; the tutor/ student brings an item to talk about it. We can describe it using the 5 senses. You can try using these questions as a guide: 1. What is this item? 2. What does it look like? 3. Smell like? 4. Taste like? 5. feel like? 6. Sound like? 




Student speaking activities: Create 3 sentences you use when you wake up for breakfast and when you start your day at work using these key words:
