Description

Most people don't need more grammar. They need a room where speaking English stops feeling dangerous.

That's what this is. Think of it as a lounge, not a classroom. We talk about your week, your work, a film you watched, a trip you're planning — whatever is actually on your mind. I follow your energy.

What you get

  • Genuine conversation with someone who grew up speaking American English
  • Gentle correction — I never interrupt mid-sentence, I note things down and we look at them together at the end
  • The natural phrases people actually use, not textbook English
  • A short written summary after every lesson so you can see your progress

The confidence part

A lot of my students don't have an English problem. They have a fear-of-speaking problem. I hold Yale's Science of Well-Being certification, and I bring a few simple, evidence-based habits into these sessions that reduce the anxiety around speaking. It works. Students who used to freeze in meetings stop freezing.

Who this is for

  • Anyone from high-beginner upward who wants to speak more and worry less
  • Students who have studied English for years but still hesitate to open their mouth
  • Anyone who wants a friendly, low-stakes hour rather than a strict lesson

Who this is not for

If you want a rigid, drill-based curriculum, one of my other lessons will suit you better. This room is deliberately relaxed.

This tutor's cancellation policy

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

The policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply to requests that are confirmed immediately.

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
