Most people don't need more grammar. They need a room where speaking English stops feeling dangerous.
That's what this is. Think of it as a lounge, not a classroom. We talk about your week, your work, a film you watched, a trip you're planning — whatever is actually on your mind. I follow your energy.
What you get
- Genuine conversation with someone who grew up speaking American English
- Gentle correction — I never interrupt mid-sentence, I note things down and we look at them together at the end
- The natural phrases people actually use, not textbook English
- A short written summary after every lesson so you can see your progress
The confidence part
A lot of my students don't have an English problem. They have a fear-of-speaking problem. I hold Yale's Science of Well-Being certification, and I bring a few simple, evidence-based habits into these sessions that reduce the anxiety around speaking. It works. Students who used to freeze in meetings stop freezing.
Who this is for
- Anyone from high-beginner upward who wants to speak more and worry less
- Students who have studied English for years but still hesitate to open their mouth
- Anyone who wants a friendly, low-stakes hour rather than a strict lesson
Who this is not for
If you want a rigid, drill-based curriculum, one of my other lessons will suit you better. This room is deliberately relaxed.
